Family Reunion 2023 – Bailey-Groce – The William Still Center

After gaining his freedom he reunited with his brother, Frederick Douglass (born Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey), in the summer of 1867 in Rochester, New York. The two families had not seen each other in more than 40 years.
